Hi! I’m Simone.
I am a Canadian Registered Massage Therapist. I graduated from ICT Northumberland Massage Therapy School in Halifax, NS in 2020.
Born and raised on Prince Edward Island, since I was a child I have always wanted to help people. I planned on becoming a gym teacher with a sports and recreation background. But actually found my passion in massage therapy at a high school career fair, funny how things happen.
I have always had a passion to understand how the human body adapts to its surroundings.
My Story
Growing up as an athlete was hard, both physically and mentally. Over my youth years; I had gallbladder surgery, sprain/strain ankles, tight muscles, multiple car accidents that triggered whiplash issues, and serious falls that caused hypertension, pain and discomfort.
My first massage was at 18, with all my pain and discomfort I didn’t know what to expect. To be honest it hurt, my body was stuck both mentally and physically. But that was the start of my healing process. Massage therapy has become a large part of my life, especially in my physical, mental and emotional health. I continue to learn through my profession to promote body awareness and provide knowledge that can help anyone get back to their daily active living.
At the end of the day..
“We as human beings put others before ourselves. We take care of our homes, vehicles, family and friends so why not ourselves? It’s not selfish to put yourself first, it’s an investment. Because every body deserves a massage.”
